Terry Curry's Shadowbox
Terry Curry sent all three sisters a fantastic Shadow Box, created with care and love of a fellow vet. Words can't do justice to his care for us. Photos soon.
My father, Maj. Robert B. Swenck, was killed in action in Vietnam in Nov. 1971. I was 12 years old; my two sisters were 6 and 9. I was born in Kentucky, but like many Air Force brats, I have lived in many places. Contact me at sswenck@gmail.com
Check out my e-book/research project "Emergent Voices: Three Memoirs by U.S. War Orphans." This project presents an emergent body of research on those Americans whose young lives were forever changed by war and contributes to future studies that could help those who are losing their parents to the current Iraq War.
